Products I've Been Loving!

Hello everyone!

Today I thought I'd share with you guys what products I've been using and loving! Hope you guys enjoy.

The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

I've spoken about this product in one of my previous posts about how I disliked this initially but came to love it. My love for this shampoo has remained. Let me be honest, I don't really like the scent of this shampoo. It's not flowery, it's what the name suggests, gingery- and nor do I suffer from dandruff but this shampoo makes my hair feel healthier. I lack volume in my hair, and I really have an oily scalp. Although I don't have thin hair, I do struggle with flatness and I feel this shampoo helps me over come that.

The bottle is quite small compared to other shampoos but this lasts for a long time (I also have long hair). I wash my hair every 2 to 4 days and I've noticed compared to when I wash my hair with other shampoos my hair doesn't get as oily. I can easily go 2 to 3 days without washing and just using some dry shampoo to revive my hair.

I think the trick with this shampoo is that you need to give it a try for a couple of weeks to get used to it. Unlike other shampoos that use silicone/sulfates, this shampoo doesn't have it. (This could also be a Body Shop thing, I'm not sure.)

Silicone/Sulfates are bad for your hair and they give you soft, shiny and silky hair- that's why at first this shampoo will not be liked by many but if you give it a try, I'm sure you will come to love it as much as me!

Treaclemoon Original Toffee Bon Bon

This is an excellent dupe for the Philosophy shower gels. I love Philosophy products, especially their shower gels but they are pricey. This is only a fraction of the cost and smells as good. Like the name, this smells like toffee. I feel like lately, most of the shower gels I have been using are food related.
You only need a small drop that lathers up well, it's not very drying on the skin and the scent, although it smells of toffee is not over powering.

The Sweet Lime Sherbet in this line smells a lot like the Soap and Glory, Sugar Crush.

If you're on a budget or want a cheaper alternative to the Philosophy shower gels, I highly recommend this!

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Sensual - Black Currant Vanilla

This is by far my favorite body scrub! The scent is very strong, and the scrub is very good for exfoliation. It contains a lot of oil, so people who don't like to feel greasy, this might not be for you. However, I love that after a shower, I feel well moisturized.
In this particular line, I also use the lotion. The scent is so feminine and sexy and honestly the scent stays on your body for a long time. Whenever I come out of the shower, everyone knows exactly what I've used.
Just love love love this.

Umberto Giannini Thickify Dry Shampoo and Volume Mousse

I had never heard of this brand before. I was on the search for mousse and had to buy a new dry shampoo since I was all out. I was looking around Boots and came across the mousse for this company. I picked it up.
Boots also had a promotion on this line- buy one get one free. Normally I would purchase the Batiste dry shampoo but since I could get one for free I chose to go with the Umberto Giannini line.

I love the mousse. Ever since I have bought it, I just apply some mousse on my hair after the shower and I'm good to go. I haven't used heat on my hair and I have to see my hair looks quite alright!
The dry shampoo, I really like as well because unlike other dry shampoos I haven't noticed the white powder residue in my hair- so I don't look like I'm prematurely ageing!

I've also noticed that the dry shampoo works better for me when I apply it the night before, in the morning my hair is more voluminous and not very greasy!

These are light on the pocket too!

Here you go guys,

my favorite products currently!

I hope you enjoyed this.

Let me know if there are other things you guys would like to read about!

Love!
