Smokey Eye - Affordable Products Step by Step Tutorial

I recorded a new YouTube video, focusing mainly on affordable, drugstore products. The only two products that were not drugstore were the Makeup Forever HD foundation and the Givenchy Magic Khol Pencil. The reason for that is because I did not have any alternative to those products in my vicinity, since it was a spur of the moment video!

  • Moisturise your face. (I cannot stress enough how important moisturising is regardless of skin type.)
  • Using a buffing brush, blend your foundation in really well into the skin down to your neck.
  • Using an eyeshadow a few shades lighter than your own, apply all over the lid, upwards to the brow bone.
  • Using a dark eyeshadow, apply on the outer 3/4 of the eye. Leave the inner third of the eye as is.
  • Then using a reddish toned eyeshadow, or a bronzer, apply in the crease. Blend the two colors really well, using a blending brush dragging it outwards.
  • With a kohl pencil, line as close as you can to the lash line and then smudge the pencil so there are no harsh lines.
  • With the same brush you used earlier for the eyelid, line the lower lash line with the same dark shadow used earlier.
  • Apply mascara on the top lashes only.
  • Fill in any sparse areas of the eyebrows with a color that suits your hair.
  • Conceal the under eye area, bridge of the nose, center of the forehead, cupids bow and chin. Blend it well.
  • Powder the face.
  • Apply a pink toned blush on the apples of the cheek, blending it upward to the temples.
  • Use a highlighter. Preferably with silver particles. (I used gold :( )
  • Apply a red lipstick.

Voila, and that's it!
